Shoes Glorious Shoes

A girl can never have too many shoes, right? That is exactly my motto when it comes to summer buying. As the weather gets warmer, it makes me more and more excited to get my summer shoes out my wardrobe and into action. I’d much rather wear dainty sandals than chunky trainers in summer but I guess that doesn’t need much explaining… So, in this post I’m going to show you some of my current fave sandals that I can wait to be walking the streets in from spring into summer.

SLIDES

Probably some of the easiest and most convenient shoes for summer days that I own are these woven slides. I bought them last summer at Primark for about £6, impressive, I knowand they still look brand new. I love the gem detailing across the straps of these sliders, and I also love how neutral the woven colours are. These are a perfect shoe to slip on and head to the beach on holiday, plus they barely take any room up in your luggage, which we all know is a bonus. I’d pair these slides with a pair of denim shorts, a white linen shirt and a woven sunhat and voila!, who would know they only cost me £6?!

GLADIATORS

For those of you who don’t already own a pair of gladiators, now’s the time to invest. They’re practical, stylish and ideal for days out in the summer. You can get so many different variations of gladiators now, that the list is just never ending; however, your best bet is to hit up Topshop where they cater for pretty much any style. Again, I bought these black and tan gladiators last summer before my trip to Florida and really, I couldn’t have picked up a better pair of summer sandals. These were also really affordable, and they’re a summer staple that I can assure you will be in my wardrobe for many more summers to come.

ESPADRILLES

Feeling fancy but don’t wanna go OTT? Espadrilles are the ones for you! I invested in my first pair last summer when I spotted these beauties on ASOS. I just love the tie detail of these, and how natural the tones are, as it means I can pair them with any outfit without fearing that they won’t go! I love to wear mine with my white skinny jeans and a cute bodysuit for a feminine but sophisticated look… They’re extremely comfy and they look really expensive, so what better shoes to wear for evening drinks with the girls? Plus, the wedge heel means you won’t have to go easy on the martinis ladies…
