I recently did a poll over on my Instagram asking if it would be useful to create a summer occasion-wear edit and the answer I received was 100% yes – so here we are!
As most of you already know, I am coming up to end of my university degree so I have lots of occasions planned for this summer – balls, graduations, parties, going on my first cruise! So I thought it was only right to share the collection of dresses that I have been eyeing up these last few weeks…
I’ve separated them into colourful options and plain black dresses – because you know me, I can’t do an edit without black. I also think black looks so classy and elegant in summer with a good tan, so bear that in mind ladies – don’t rule it out!
Whether you’re going to the races, have a graduation coming up, attending a summer wedding, or simply just looking for a bit of inspo for your evenings on holiday – I’m hoping this post will help you out.

If you’re willing to splash a little more cash, I’d also recommend looking at Nadine Merabi, Reformation and House of CB. Alternatively, if you know you’re only going to get one wear out of a dress, why not look into renting a higher end piece for a similar price to be more sustainable. Platforms such as By Rotation and HURR are great places to start looking for inspo.
