Summer Styling with Saint and Sofia

*This is a sponsored post in which some of the items featured below were kindly gifted to me*

As an August baby, summer is by far my favourite season of the year. I love everything about it; the smell of freshly cut grass, waking up to the birds tweeting, picnics with friends in the sun, summer getaways; the list could go on and on… But above all and most importantly, I just love summer for its fashion.

Think beautiful broderie anglaise, dreamy smock dresses, gorgeous linen and cute co-ords; how could summer not be someones favourite season?! Speaking of co-ords, not only am I shocked, but I’m embarrassed, that until last week (when I was gifted these gorgeous pieces from Saint and Sofia) I was never the proud owner of a cute summer co-ord.

For those who don’t know, Saint and Sofia are a luxury womenswear brand who are based down in London and manufacture all of their clothes either in-house, or in Europe. Unlike a lot of other brands, Saint and Sofia are actively trying to minimise their effects on our environment whilst also producing inspirational, luxurious pieces of modern fashion. Although I only recently discovered this brand, it is safe to say that it is already a firm favourite of mine. The company are extremely passionate about the design of their garments and accessories, and there is no doubt that they put their customers experience at the forefront of their business.

So, as you can imagine, when Saint and Sofia said they were happy to collaborate with me on a blog post, I was unbelievably excited and couldn’t wait to share these stunning pieces with you all! For reference I am usually a UK Size 10 in clothing, and I am wearing a Size 10 in the ‘Carnaby Co Ord‘ and a Size 8 in the black ‘Wimbledon Dress‘.

CARNABY CO-ORD:

WHITE SPOT CARNABY JACKET (£120) AND MINI SKIRT (£65)

Okay so can we just take a moment to question how I have gone 20 years on this planet without owning a matching co-ord set?! It is simply beyond me – but thank goodness that this is no longer the case…

When I unboxed my parcel from Saint and Sofia, I instantly fell in love with this set. Not only is it the perfect outfit for a summers day out; it can be styled so many ways, that I just know I’ll we wearing this beautiful set all year round. As both the Carnaby Jacket and Skirt are made out of 97% cotton, it is no surprise that both of the garments feel extremely high quality and long lasting. I absolutely love the print of this set, as its unique twist on the classic polka dot pattern gives it a modern feel whilst remaining quite discreet and not too OTT.

As you can see in these photos, I paired mine with a simple black body and white chunky trainers for a relaxed feel, however I can’t wait to style it up with a simple white tee and a pair of barely there’s for drinks with the girls when the bars reopen. I think this is such a timeless and feminine outfit that is ideal for most occasions… so next time I find myself complaining that I have ‘nothing to wear’, I know exactly what I will be turning to as my solution!

WIMBLEDON DRESS:

In addition to the Carnaby Co-ord, Saint and Sofia also gifted me this wonderful midi dress. Again, as soon as I opened my parcel and tried this beauty on, I knew that this will forever be one of my go-to wardrobe staples. Great for pairing with trainers through the day and heels at night, this dress is extremely versatile and so easy to style with accessories.

BLACK WIMBLEDON DRESS (£90)

The simplicity of this dress is just one of the reasons that I am completely obsessed with it. The cut, is another. Unlike most midis, the hem of this one is asymmetrical, meaning it sits really nicely on your body and is surprisingly complimentary to your figure. I also love the fact that the sleeves of this dress are 3/4 length, as I think it makes it look so much more sophisticated and super chic.

As you can see, I have paired this beautiful dress with some cat eye sunnies and my triple white Stan Smiths for a simple summer look. Although, I already can’t wait to layer it up in the winter. It is simply the perfect transitional dress for every season.

I really hope you have all loved reading this post and seeing how I have styled these gorgeous pieces!

Which is your favourite look? I’d love to know in the comments below 🙂

Also, I just want to quickly add that I would never recommend any products or clothing on my blog that I didn’t genuinely love. The quality of Saint and Sofia’s clothing is amazing and the brand itself is just so, so lovely… Please go check it out for yourself – you really won’t regret it!

I hope you’re all having a great week!
