Okay, straight up, let’s address the elephant in the room – and nope, I’m not referring to the fact that I haven’t written a post in over two months (oops, please forgive me!), but instead, I’m talking about the fact that it’s 1ST SEPTEMBER today people! I mean, what the heck – put your hand up right now if you think we deserve a refund for this shambles of a summer that we’ve had, because I certainly do.
As an August baby, summer is my all time favourite season – for fashion, weather (only when the sun likes to come out, obvs) and because it’s my birthday – oh sorry, did I already mention that? Anyway, as summer is now (practically) over in the UK, it only felt right to share with you what I’ll be purchasing for my wardrobe ahead of the colder months, as well as my autumn favourites from last year that I will be rewearing throughout the upcoming season.

If you follow me over on Instagram, you may know that I treated myself last week when I was down in London to the New Balance 990v5’s (ad) that I have featured in this post – I wanted to give them a special shoutout because honestly I can’t think of a better trainer for A/W. The grey tones pair really well with so many autumnal colours and they’re also some of the comfiest trainers that I’ve ever put on – so worth the price tag! Although I have also found a great (more affordable) dupe for them on H&M which you can find here (ad).
