My A/W Must Haves

The fact that we are already half way through September already, scares me… A LOT. WHERE has this year gone?! Does anyone else feel as though they’ve blinked and suddenly we have skipped four months of 2020? Surely it can’t just be me…

If you follow me over on Instagram you’ll know that I have been SO excited for autumn fashion ever since the temperature dropped below about 20 degrees here in the UK (lol, it really doesn’t take much to get me excited about autumn – aka, the best season for fashion). Although… to be honest, I’m definitely not ready to leave summer behind this year; especially the light mornings and late sunsets… I feel as though we have been robbed. Although, at the same time, the quicker 2020 is over, the better – right people?!

Anyway! Seeing as my favourite season is just around the corner, I thought I would share some of my favourite bits that I have found online in the last week or so… Autumn in the UK can be a bit of a weird one so I’ve kept this selection as a transition from summer into autumn meaning you can style these pieces with items from your current summer wardrobe! ‘Shackets’ (shirt/jacket) seem to be extremely popular again this year, with the likes of Zara and H&M offering SO many different options and styles, however the ones I have chosen below are definitely the most versatile out of the lot and are perfect for those wanting to build up a capsule wardrobe this season.

Scroll down to see my A/W faves right now – all items are linked below!

From Left to Right: Black Satin Slit Midi Skirt, Grey Shacket, Black Oversized Shacket, Beige Polo Knit, Chain Detail Top, Grey Chunky V-Neck Knit, White Vintage High Rise Jeans, Track Sole Chunky Boots, Check Overshirt, Straight Leg Faux Leather Trousers, Heeled Chelsea Boots, Grey Checked Blazer, Light Grey Polo Neck Style Jumper, Black Wool Coat and Greige Blazer.

Now if you tell me you’re not excited for autumn styling after seeing these gorgeous pieces, I simply won’t believe you, or okay, I’ll believe you, but we definitely can’t be friends – sorry not sorry. But, if you’re like me and cannot wait to see more chunky knits and autumn inspo, then make sure you’re following me over on Instagram where I share all of my fave high street pieces on my story on a weekly basis.

I hope you enjoyed reading this little blog post and I hope it has given you some inspiration as we transition into autumn. Also, I’d love to know if you’d like to see more post like this or if you prefer to just see my fave pieces over on my stories. Let me know in the comments below!

Hope everyone has a lovely Thursday!
