As a full time student with a shopping addition, sometimes you just have to make compromises because the budget doesn’t quite stretch that far… Saying this though, I have always been a sucker for a good high street designer dupe, as you’re essentially getting the same look, but on a budget – so really, what more could we ask for?
I’ve recently been searching the web to find a new black bag suitable for the day time when I go shopping/meet friends for lunch/coffee etc, and luckily I didn’t have to look further than Mango to realise that they are fully killing the bag game at the moment…
I already own a few bags from Mango so I know the quality and durability of their bags is always going to be really good, and so when I saw how many gorgeous bags they have at the moment, my bank account really was screaming for help.

Hermés Kelly Mini Leather Handbag Dupe
After looking at all the bags available on Mango, I did have to restrict myself and allow myself to buy one bag, and one bag only. So, this was the lucky one – it’s the perfect addition to my bag collection, and will add an element of sophistication to all of my outfits. Sleek, chic and city ready. And for £23,980 less than the Hérmes Mini Kelly, I think it’s a no brainer…
Hermés Kelly Large Crocodile Handbag Dupe
If you love the Mini Kelly but you’re after a more practical bag for work or uni, this is ideal. It’s priced at £49.99 which may seem a little steep however you’re getting a luxe look for a very reasonable price. Plus like I say, all of Mango’s bags last a long time and are made very well. So we can make an exception, right?
Prada Re-edition 2005 Nylon Black Shoulder Bag
Probably one of the most iconic bags on the market right now. A great day time bag to hold all of your essentials and add a cool twist on your outfit. This is also a gorgeous bag that you can easily wear in the day or night! LOVE!
Gucci Jackie 1961 Small Shoulder Bag – GG Print
Serving vintage designer vibes at only £19.99. Again, a great dupe and a really interesting bag. Different to a lot of other shoulder bags, but this one would be a lovely addition to any autumnal outfit. I really love the navy and brown combo. It’s a yes from me.
Bottega Veneta Chain Pouch Leather Shoulder Bag
Another classic – and can we please just take a moment to appreciate how well Mango have pulled this one off. I’d say this is more of an evening clutch, however it also looks cool dressed up in the day for a meal or bottomless brunch. I love the chain detailing and think this would just top off any all black outfit.
Prada Aqua Cleo Brushed Leather Shoulder Bag
Something a little different, but just as cute. I love the shape of this one, and just how similar it is to the £1,800 Prada Cleo Shoulder Bag. Neutral, but not boring – this would be great to break up the dark autumnal colours in your outfits and add a splash of fresh colour.
Saint Laurent Black Loulou Quilted Leather Shoulder Bag
Okay but like… how gorgeous is this one! The fact this is under £30 is a bit of a joke. I love the quilting detail on this shoulder bag and love how you also have the choice to adjust the chain straps. Sophisticated and versatile. We really do love to see it.

And last but not least, this absolute beauty. If I saw this bag in the street and someone told me it wasn’t designer, I’d probably faint. I mean – I’m sorry? £19.99 for this stunning design, and it also comes in brown colour too… Result.
