With the warmer weather on its way (…let’s ignore this weekend’s forecast), I’m starting to think about my summer skincare routine and the best products to be using for a glowy, natural everyday look. I have also been using the Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner (ad) over the last few months, and for someone who finds perfecting the iconic cat eye look near to impossible, I have to say this little tool has honestly been such a godsend – I am now so much closer to creating a faultless winged liner look!

I’ve heard so many good things about the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ SPF30 (ad); it’s supposed to be great to reduce the appearance of blemishes and reveal a more refined complexion. This one is great for those of you with oily/combination skin and is the perfect match to pair with their BB Blur Cream (ad). Wearing a full face of make up in the heat is possibly up there with the top 10 things I hate. There is nothing worse than feeling like your face is actually melting off your body in the blazing heat. If you’re thinking “you know what I totally agree with you Lydia”, then this BB Blur Cream is your answer for your summer base. It is ultra-light, breathable and suitable for sensitive skin – what more could you want? By adding a slight tint to your skin, you’ll be able to achieve that healthy glow with minimal effort, and won’t have to cover your face with a thick foundation when the UK does reach its peak of 25 degrees in the summertime.
The last product I can’t go without mentioning, is the NYX Professional Makeup Precision Brow Pencil (ad). I have used their Micro Brow Pencil (ad) for years and it is hands down my favourite brow product I’ve ever used. It comes in 7 different shades on LOOKFANTASTIC, so there is a shade for everyone and just makes doing your brows so easy and hassle free!
