Happy Easter weekend everyone!
Inspired by one of my fave bloggers Alice Hope (you can check out her blog here) and in light of my recent ‘One Shirt, Three Outfits’ post, I thought I would get my creative juices flowing today and do another one very similar, but this time with my favourite bodysuit! Most of you probably already know that this beauty is from Zara (as I’ll be surprised if it hasn’t been the only thing on your Instagram feed for the past few months…), anyway, if you didn’t know, you could have probably guessed with it being me and my shopping habits!
Zara is undoubtably one of my fave high street shops, and seeing as their famous bodysuit is just SO versatile, I have put together three different ways you can style it for three different occasions.
For the first look, I decided to keep it simple. This bodysuit is super comfy but also so stylish; making for the perfect lockdown outfit. After days of baggy tops and leggings, I love to crack this bodysuit out of my wardrobe and change things up a bit to make me feel good about myself… I love the cut and shape of this body, plus because its black – yep, you guessed it, it goes with everything! I paired it here with my Topshop grey joggers, Zara white trainers and a cute white scrunchie to add a girly stamp on it.
A SUMMERS DAY OUT
Fast forward a couple of months and we will be in the height of summer – but whether we’re allowed to leave out houses by then or not is a different matter… However, say we are, and one of the girls is having a BBQ but you don’t know what to wear?! Well, this outfit is your answer. This is probably my favourite look out of the three because it’s so fun with the added colour, and I think this PLT checked shirt just looks great alongside the body. I topped this look off with some tinted retro sunnies, my classic white converse and these staple denim shorts from Primark. Such an easy but effective outfit, and ideal for all those summer days out in the foreseeable future – shopping, picnic, cinema, day out at the zoo… you name it!
For the final look, I paired the bodysuit with these gorgeous Zara trousers. I definitely think this body looks best with anything high waisted, as it really compliments the high neckline of the bodysuit. Similar to the first look, I added my chunky white trainers to keep the outfit cool and relaxed, but this time, I also added one of my favourite bags from Kate Spade over my shoulder to ensure the fit is practical and wearable for a lunch date. I also finished the look off with my black River Island sunnies, and my hair in a ‘half up half down’ style which is just ideal for the summer as it keeps your hair out of your face all day and still looks really stylish!
So there you have three of my fave ways to style this body, and writing this, is reminding me that I now need it in every other colour as it’s just such a great staple to have in your spring/summer wardrobe.
